The company has made some variants of the XUV 7XO more expensive. The price of select models has increased by up to Rs 20,000. However, the relief is that the company has not increased the price of all the variants. The price change has been applied to select 2WD petrol and diesel models. Let’s find out which variant will cost you more now and what changes the SUV has received.

How much has the price of Mahindra XUV 7XO increased?

Mahindra has slashed the prices of select variants of the XUV 7XO by Rs. 7,499 to Rs. 20,000 has been increased. This mainly affected variants like AX3, AX5, AX7 and AX7T. The price varies in different models depending on the engine and transmission.

The company has not changed the prices of the base model and the top variant. That is, if you are planning to buy these variants, you will have to pay only the old price. However, customers opting for other variants will now have to budget more than before.

Which variant got the most price hike?

This time the AX7 diesel manual (MT) variant of the Mahindra XUV 7XO has been increased by a maximum of Rs 20,000. After the price hike, its new ex-showroom price is Rs 19.80 lakh.

Apart from this, the prices of some diesel automatic and petrol variants have also been increased. However, not all models have the same increase. So, before buying an SUV, it would be better to check the new price of your favorite variant from the dealership. Especially if your budget is fixed, this change in price can affect your purchase decision.

There is no change in engine and features

Apart from increasing the price, Mahindra has not made any major changes to the SUV. Its engine, power and mechanical parts remain the same. The XUV 7XO is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns out around 200 bhp of power and 380 Nm of torque.

At the same time, its 2.2-litre diesel engine generates around 182 bhp of power and 450 Nm of torque. Customers get the option to choose between manual and automatic gearbox as per their requirement.

Mahindra XUV 7XO gets premium interiors, large touchscreen infotainment system, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and many safety features. Its stylish design and comfort during long journeys also make it popular among customers.
