October 2026 was the best month for Mahindra in terms of sales. During this period, the company sold a total of 1,31,109 vehicles in the domestic market and abroad. This is the company’s highest ever sales in a single month. An increase of 9 percent was recorded compared to October last year. Mahindra has also created a new record in the SUV segment. The company sold 73,338 SUVs in the domestic market in October. Increased consumer demand and entry of new models boosted sales during the festive season.

Sales of SUVs also boomed

In October 2026, Mahindra’s domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 73,338 units. In October 2025, this figure was 71,624 units. That means there has been an increase of 2.39 percent annually. Including exports, the company’s total utility vehicle sales stood at 74,904 units. At the same time, between April and October in the current financial year 2026-27, Mahindra sold 4,31,480 SUVs in the domestic market.

New models and festivals will benefit

The recently introduced XUV 3XO ZNG is also receiving good response from customers. However, the company has not shared individual sales figures for this model. Mahindra also sold 33,037 light commercial vehicles in October, up nearly 4 percent from last year.

Increase in three wheelers and exports

The company has seen the highest growth in three wheeler sales. Including the electric model, Mahindra sold 17,632 units in October, compared to 12,762 units in the same month last year. That means the sales have increased by 38 percent. The company’s exports also increased by 77 percent to 7,102 units during this period.

Sales of trucks and buses have also increased

Mahindra Truck and Bus Division and SML Mahindra together sold 2,838 trucks and buses in October. This includes vehicles sent abroad. Last year, 2,034 units were sold in the same month. Thus, a year-on-year growth of 40 percent was recorded in this segment. Overall, October was a great one for Mahindra from SUVs to commercials and three-wheelers.
