The professor applied

Professor Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, a professor in the School of Social Sciences at JNU and a Congress MP, was sacked by the JNU administration on 9 October. The professor filed an application against this in the Delhi High Court. In this, the professor told the court that no notice was given to him before taking the decision. Akoism, on the other hand, has denied the allegations against him, calling the proceedings politically motivated and alleging a flaw in the process. On which the court has issued an order to put an interim stay on the order to dismiss the professor. So, a notice has also been issued to JNU on the application, challenging its termination. However, what is special about this is that the Delhi Police has registered an FIR against him in connection with the allegations and an investigation is underway.
