US President Donald Trump has made a big claim regarding the ongoing war with Iran. He said America will win this war very soon. Trump also said that Iran could be attacked again before the US midterm elections. However, he did not say when the attack would take place. Trump spoke to Fox News on Sunday during the PGA Tour Presidents Cup. He said that as soon as the war ends, the price of oil in the world will fall drastically. According to him, prices could reach this level before the start of the war.

Trump said that America’s biggest goal is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He considered stopping nuclear weapons as the most important in the whole matter. When asked if there could be military action against Iran again before the midterm elections, Trump said it was possible, but he didn’t want to say more about it.

America has won militarily before: Trump

Referring to Operation Economic Outcast, Trump said the US is moving forward with both military pressure and economic sanctions on Iran. He claimed that the US had won at the military level, but that did not mean action had stopped.

Trump also made big claims on Iran’s economy. He said that Iran’s economy has been completely destroyed. According to him, inflation in Iran has reached almost 300% and the information he received this morning is said to be 318%. He said that Iran’s currency, economy and army are in serious crisis.

Iran said – ready for the war of doomsday

At the same time, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on an NBC News program that his country was fully prepared to resume war with the United States. He said that Iran is also ready for Doomsday War i.e. a very big and destructive war.

Araghchi said Iran is not worried about the US midterm elections. National interest is most important for them. However, he also said that Iran is ready for diplomacy and does not want to leave any chance for peace. He said Trump has publicly rejected Iran’s proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. But Iran has not yet received its official information through diplomatic channels.

Araghchi said Iran wants to get back its stable finances and assets and be allowed to sell its oil. According to him, the MoU for the temporary ceasefire in June had the same conditions. However, this agreement was later broken due to attacks from both sides.
